222 2nd Avenue

This 25-story mixed-use tower overlooks the Cumberland River and another Kovach project, the Ascend Amphitheater. Providing over 360,000 SF of Class A office space, 25,000 SF of ground-level retail and office space, and an 1100 space parking garage, 222 2nd Ave. is the newest addition to Nashville’s growing skyline.

Bioscience Partnership Building

This 10-story building is the newest member of the University of Arizona’s Biomedical Campus, located in downtown Phoenix. Kovach collaborated with CO Architects in the design of the award-winning custom copper system, which resembles rock and sediment formations found in canyons. The striking copper panels were fabricated at Kovach’s headquarters in Chandler, AZ.

151 1st Ave (Under Construction)

151 1st Avenue South is a singular 40-story tall high-rise tower with 142 luxury riverfront condominiums paired with a 232 room five-star luxury hotel in the center podium. The project will provide parking to 374 cars and maintain around 8,000 SF of retail which will serve to activate First Avenue across from West Riverfront Park.

UTD Engineering

This 200,000 square-foot facility primarily houses the Mechanical Engineering Department, and will contain research and teaching labs, faculty offices, student workspaces and a 300-seat auditorium. It also includes a retail food grab-and-go facility, a third-floor student lounge with a balcony and a landscaped courtyard with seating to provide additional study and collaboration space.

Sunset Times

Sunset Times (Under Construction)

Two mid-rise buildings featuring 149 hotel rooms, 40 condominiums and approximately 25,000 square feet of street-fronting retail and restaurant space. A seven-level subterranean garage would span across the property, offering parking for up to 400 vehicles. The terrace levels will be used to create a series of pool decks and private rooftop gardens.

Texas Live (Under Construction)

An unprecedented upscale experience that blends sports and entertainment with first-class hospitality and superior amenities. Designed by internationally-acclaimed HKS Architects, the 14-story tall contemporary glass tower will feature 302 luxury guestrooms, including 26 suites, with floor to ceiling glass windows that show off incredible, expansive views of the entertainment district from each room.

Golden 1 Center

Golden 1 Center

The home of the NBA’s Sacramento Kings, Golden 1 Center is carbon and grid neutral, as well as LEED Gold-certified. Only the pioneering capabilities of Kovach’s design team could accommodate what architectural firm, AECOM created: a metal panel facade featuring custom embossed metal panels. The result is a stunning and one-of-a-kind building facade.

Beus Center

Beus Center for Law and Society

This project features Kovach’s Unitized Stone System: Sourcing stone from nearby Chino Valley, sandstone slabs were integrated into our metal and glass panel systems to create a system that is easier and more efficient to manufacture and install. Unitizing the stone system significantly reduced installation time, labor costs, and jobsite congestion, while increasing overall job safety.

U of A HSIB

U of A Health Science Innovation Building

The Health Sciences Innovation Building (HSIB) will provide space for integrated, inter-professional medical and healthcare education, training and research. In addition to flexible large-, medium- and small-group/team learning areas, it will include a clinical skills and simulation center for a broad range of use and applications.

Tooker House

Tooker House (ASU Student Housing)

Tooker House, ASU’s newest student housing facility, is the latest addition to the growing list of facilities at Arizona State University that feature stunning architecture. Kovach was thrilled to participate with the design team at Solomon, Cordwell, Buenz to bring their design intent to life. The use of various perforated metals, natural sand stone, insulated metal panels, and insulated low-e glass ensure that this project will perform optimally in the Valley of the Sun.
